Meet The BTBB Team

Jason, a native Arizonan, currently resides in Chandler with his wife and three children. As a longtime Educator, he has had the opportunity to support thousands of children with the fulfillment of their educational goals. This passion for helping youth, combined with his love of playing drums and his interest in restoration work, led to the creation of Bring the Beat Back.  BtBB is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth and youth service organizations to become involved in and experience the joy of playing music.

Krys’ family moved to Arizona when he was two, so he’s nearly native to the state. Playing rock instruments semi-professionally since high school, Krys has also taught lessons and had the privilege of supporting several local artists on their recording projects. As a father of four and supportive husband of a gifted singer, their house is often filled with music and he is excited to help pass the same gift along to other families with Bring the Beat Back.  For more information about Krys, visit instagram.com/kvs_music.   

Born in Ohio, raised in Arizona, Michael and his amazing family of five live in ever-growing Gilbert, AZ. A graduate of Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Michael has been writing and editing words his entire career. While he may have a penchant for puns and alliteration, it's Michael's love of playing music and giving back to the community that inspired his involvement with BtBB. As the great Beethoven once said, "Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy. Music is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents."
